Role of Technology in Medication Process

Nowadays some of the hospitals, not just here in the Philippines nor in the other country, medication errors are common and often occur during order transcription or administration of medication. To prevent such errors technology has been developed to verify medications by incorporating bar-code verification technology within an electronic medication-administration system. The role of Technology in Medication Process has a great contribution in terms of ensuring the accuracy of giving medication or even some of the information that a patient may need to know.
